Introduction to the Civil War, Battlefield:
History is changed by culture and the lifetime of individuals, but only battles can change the world in just a few hours. American civil war is one of the most essential wars not only to America, but also to the whole world. As South president Jefferson Davis claimed to be an independent country and separate from Union as confederacy, Union president Lincoln declares the war on April 15, 1861. This portion of the exhibit will be looking at the crucial battles that took place during the Civil War. For each battle, this exhibit analyzes the effects of geography, military tactics and strategy as the brilliance of generals who lead men to fight and die for their belief and look at the immediate effects of the battle on civil war. The exhibit will focus and help visitor to have a better understanding on the procedure of the civil war, the casualties, the leader in different battles, how and where each crucial battles were fought and won as well as the influence of each battle to the American history and to the rest of the world.
